About

We built the DJ we wanted at our own parties.

Gloam.fm is made by Tiny Trash Labs — a very small team.

A good DJ reads the room, builds the night, and keeps the floor moving. Most parties never get one — they're expensive, they book out, and a phone on shuffle just isn't the same. Gloam.fm is an AI DJ that does the real job: it sequences your music into a set, mixes between tracks, works the mic in a voice you choose, and takes live requests and photos from the room — all running on your own Spotify or Apple Music.

01Why "Gloam"

Gloam is an old word for twilight — the half-lit hour when the sky goes magenta and gold and a night is about to begin. That's the moment we're built for: lights down, first track in, the room tipping from gathering to party. The mark is a little sun setting over a horizon, with the night's energy rising out of it.

02Made by a tiny company

We're Tiny Trash Labs — a small indie studio that builds the apps we actually want to use, and a few we just think should exist. No big team, no investors leaning on us to bolt on features nobody asked for. That smallness is the point: we can be opinionated, ship carefully, talk to the people who use Gloam, and keep the whole thing honest.

03How we think about it

  • Your music, your account. Gloam plays through your own streaming subscription. Licensing and royalties stay with you — we never touch them.
  • Honest pricing. Planning is free, you hear a live preview before paying, and you buy prepaid DJ-hours — no subscription, no surprise meter. Run out mid-party and the music keeps playing.
  • AI that serves the room. We use AI to do the parts a DJ does between songs — not to replace the feeling of a great night. If a line wouldn't earn its place at a real party, it shouldn't be said.
